	Medical Imaging

Digital radiography allows for x-ray imaging of the specific body parts without the use of film and or film processing.

This technology allows for almost immediate access via electronic medical record charts by the ordering physician to view their patients x-rays. It eliminates lost film, and it also gives much better image quality.

CT Scanning - A 4-slice light speed scan which allows for very quick scanning protocols and very good image detail with 2D and 3D image reformatting. Most imaging with the CT scanner can be completed in less than 5 minutes from start to finish.

MRI - 1.5 field strength magnet, this modality allows for very sharp imaging and detail of all soft tissue structures, such as tendons, ligaments, neural canal, brain tissue as well as evaluations of tears of soft tissue structures, such as ACL knee ligaments.

Dexascan - Done to evaluate patients for osteoporosis, which is a degenerative progression of bone mineral as people age. It is more prevalent in post menopausal women. By determining bone mineral content, this allows for proper direction of application of appropriate medications by the physicians to stem this loss of bone density.

C-Arms - Portable, movable x-ray machines that are primarily used in surgical cases to assist the physician in very delicate procedures such as joint replacments.
